NEWS The Annual General Meeting took place last night and the shareholders voted to eliminate the shares so we will now become a not for profit organization. This will enable us to apply for various sources of funding that we were unable to access in the past. We will now become the Pembroke Curling Centre. New members joining the board will be Gail Schryer, Emile Robert, Rick Duncan, Larry Termarsch and Harv Robertson. Kristin McMahon, Rick Lomore, Mitch Brideau and Brian Rook remain. Many thanks to Keith Selle, Bill Straby, Lori Donovan, Kassi Clifford and Connie Stresman for their many hours of work on the Board. The club curling season is over and all the curling events on TV are now finished. There are some rental events coming up this summer so if you have your Smart Serve give Vicky or Deb a call to volunteer bartend. Remember the bar helps to pay for our summer expenses! Have a great summer and we'll see you in the fall!
